US Officials To Meet Taliban Representatives For The First Time Since Withdrawing Troops From Afghanistan!

The US is going to hold one-on-one talks with Taliban representatives on Saturday and Sunday. This meeting will be held in Doha, Qatar. This will be the first face-to-face meeting between the US and the Taliban since the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan on August 30. However, the US has also made it clear that this meeting does not mean that it has recognized the Taliban government. We are clear on this matter that if the Taliban want recognition, they will have to do it through their actions.

The US will pressurize the Taliban to form an inclusive government, a
US State Department spokesperson said, "We will pressure the Taliban to respect the rights of all Afghan people, especially women and girls." Also form an inclusive government with the support of more people. He also said that given the economic crisis and humanitarian tragedy that Afghanistan is going through, "we will pressurize it to allow humanitarian agencies to operate freely in Afghanistan."

America's appeal –
Before US citizens stranded in Afghanistan should be allowed to go , US State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Thursday that 105 US citizens and 95 green card holders left Afghanistan in flights provided by the US. However, dozens of American citizens and many Afghan aides are still trapped in Afghanistan and want to leave. In this regard, the US is going to appeal to the Taliban to let them leave the country.
